
EDWARDSVILLE — The Wildey Theatre will host two performances this weekend as a part of the “Keep in mind The Future fiftieth Anniversary Tour” being undertaken by Nektar.
Taking the stage at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 18, and seven p.m. Sunday, March 19, the band Nektar will queue up tracks from the “Keep in mind the Future” iconic album and their classics, uncommon tracks and sounds of their most up-to-date album, “The Different Aspect.”
Tickets for the performances on the Wildey, 252 N. Fundamental St. in Edwardsville, vary from $50 to $115 for fundamental to VIP Expertise choices.
Nektar has captured the creativeness and admiration of listeners the world over with their multi-media live shows, melding a jam-band vibe with very good musicality and a visible cornucopia that completely enhances every efficiency, based on a press launch.
Fashioned in Germany in 1969 by British expats, Nektar’s creative and private charisma has earned them a legion of devoted followers, who’ve flocked to festivals reminiscent of ProgDay, NearFest and ProgStock, and venues just like the Wildey.
